Battlestar

Oh my gods, that was the best fracking episode of Battlestar EVER! And now we have to wait until next year. Dammit! But Starbuck's back, Starbuck's back! WHEEEEE!

Training Walk - 8.84 Miles to Starbucks and Back

Middle Sister and I were off for our Sunday walk at 8:20 this morning. She put in 9.3 miles on her own yesterday, while I spent the day in an overstuffed chair, recovering from my Muskegon trip. Today we walked 4.4 miles to Starbucks and then returned. Not as scenic a trip as last week, but we got hot beverages and food in the middle! Next weekend we're off to Biggest Sister's for a Sisters' Weekend and some team walks. Click on the muddy bunny for the six photos and commentary.

Battlestar Anxiety

Did they really do this? Did she really blow up into tiny bits of flame? It can't be, it just can't be. This isn't Whedon we're talking about here. We love Starbuck! Not Starbucks, although we all know how wonderful that is - Starbuck!!! Come back Kara!

Another Muskegon Trip

With spring break from school came another business trip to Muskegon. This time my luggage arrived with me, which was an improvement over the January trip. The last couple of posts were camera-phoned in from the road, but you can click on the Detroit Airport tunnel below to see the whole set with commentary, including the harrowing snowstorm landing in a tiny, tiny plane onto a tiny, tiny runway.

Sunday's Walk through the Farms

Sunday Middle Sister and I took a new route, winding through the horse and farm area of town. Many people think of my town (which is also where I grew up) as the definition of suburbia. After all, we were the home of the first east coast shopping mall! But most don't realize that there is still a good amount of farm area and also many historic homes from the early and mid 1700's. Well, our 8.2 mile Avon Walk training took us on the winding hills yesterday. Here's the route. I took some pictures - I'll try to post them up later today. Otherwise they're going to have to wait until my return from another client visit this week.

UPDATE (3/11/07) - Here are the pictures. Click on the carriage crossing sign for the set and the stories.

I misspelled the word typo in an email.
